This was a huuuge surprise for me to receive this card. It was for December 2009 RR and it was from moonlight. She is actually a colleague of mine and our desks are like five meters from each other in the office. She had this beautiful multiview of Dalmatian coasts of Croatia together with a Croatian stamp from 1995. She was so kind to go to office to add a Turkish stamp on the card, get the Turkish stamp cancelled, make sure the Croatian stamp is untouched and personally deliver the card to my desk.
For the cancellation of this stamp and all the stamps you receive from me, here, I should also thank our lovely post-office clerk, Selcen. She knows all about postcrossing and feels really responsible when it comes to stamp side of the story. We are really good friends now and she will be coming to our First Postcrossing Meeting of Turkey in Ankara on June 12, 2010 representing Turkish Postal Services :)By the way, there is a lottery open if you want to get a card or a magnet from our meeting. I had no idea you and Basak knew each other! I knew for sure that you knew Nazmi and Leslie but never heard you mention Basak before. :) What a nice thing for her to do!
