I received this really amazing and informative card of Portugal's Douro wine region from my facebook friend, Paula. Douro is one of the oldest wine growing regions in the world with wine being transported down the Douro River on flat bottomed "rabelo" boats and then stored in warehouses at Porto. The region has been a UNESCO WHS since 2001.

Alto Douro Wine Region (UNESCO WHS)
I received this really amazing and informative card of Portugal's Douro wine region from my facebook friend, Paula. Peneda-Gerês National Park - Portugal
Peneda-Geres National Park is the only national park in Portugal and I received the card of this special Portuguese park from kami for Turkey x World Tag. The park comprises a ridge of mountains, Peneda, Amarela, and Geres. There are some villages within the boundaries of this national park and these villagers live in the houses similar to the one on the card and enjoy this great scenery every single day. Aren't they lucky?
