Toruń (UNESCO WHS) - Poland

A couple of weeks ago I received two cards of Toruń from two Polish forum members on the same day so I felt like sharing them with you together.

The first card, showing the Old Town Hall, is from sylwiail for Turkey X World RR, Special Group 5. Toruń has been a UNESCO WHS since 1997. The city is famous for having preserved almost intact its medieval spatial layout and many Gothic buildings, all built from brick, including monumental churches, the Town Hall and many burgher houses.

The second card is from zdislava for Turkey X World RR, Group 25. Ela says Toruń is not only a very well known UNESCO WHS but also it is hwere Nicolas Copernicus was born and hwere ginger breads are made :)
