Lviv - Ukraine (UNESCO WHS)

Such an adorable card for me for various reasons:
1) UNESCO WHS
2) There is a statue
3) It is black and white.
All in :) It shows a part of the historical part of Lviv in Ukraine. Here is what UNESCO says about Lviv: "The city of L''viv, founded in the late Middle Ages, was a flourishing administrative, religious and commercial centre for several centuries. The medieval urban topography has been preserved virtually intact (in particular, there is evidence of the different ethnic communities who lived there), along with many fine Baroque and later buildings."

On the card we can see Neptune Fountain on Rynok Square. Many many thanks to dear Irina (mindanao) for the great card for February 2010 RR.

Poznań

I received this card from Alaskan Malamute in postcrossing forums for Topic X Topic RR, Group 8 but there is just the RR name and username on the back together with my address. Well, wiki says it is one of the oldest cities of Poland. Today it is an important centre of trade, industry, and education, and hosts regular international trade fairs. It is also a candidate city for European Culture of Capital for 2016.

Old Town of Lijiang (UNESCO WHS)

An official card from Zhuying (CN-196287) showing Si Fang (Square) Street in Lijiang Ancient Town. The background on the card is east. It has Fair Trade every day, from 10am to 5pm. Most traders are Naxi women. The area has been a UNESCO WHS since 1997.

Early Mexican Revolution

This nice reprint card of the Early Mexican Revolution came from purpleferret for Alphabet RR, Group Z3. Z is for Zapata. Alphabet RR is one of my favourite RRs of the forums because you never know what you will receive and you can always find cool cards like this one in your post box.
