Wooden Churches of Maramureş - Romania (UNESCO WHS)

Wooden Churches of Maramureş (There are 8 churches in total) have been UNESCO WHS since 1999. Actually there are 93 wooden churches in total in Maramureş County but 8 of them have been chosen as the most representative constructions. What we see on the card is "The Presentation of the Virgin to the Temple" Church of Bârsana. Many thanks to lindus for sending me this card (January RR 2010) and making me do some research.
