Lipizzaner Horses of Lipica - Slovenia

Lipica is a Slovenian village close to Slovenia-Italy border. Although I've lived in the Italian city of Trieste for almost a year, which is also on Italy-Slovenia border, I've never been to Lipica or heard of these beautiful horses. Thanks to my great Slovenian swap partner, joie, now I have a card of them. The Lipica stud farm was founded in the 16th century and today there is still a completely functional stud farm in Lipica, which breeds the finest horses for haute-école riding.
